Our Culture and Tourism tent features lectures and demonstrations by recognized experts in Turkish art, history, culture, and cuisine. In the culture tent, we showcase works of artists and styles of artwork that are unique and under-represented, like miniature art, paper marbling, tile-making, painting and calligraphy. We feature a wonderful Traditional Turkish food demonstration which will urge you to have more of the delicious food around you. We make Ottoman costumes and Ottoman souvenir boards available for you; in case you will want to “ Become an Ottoman” and have your pictures taken.

Some of the highlights of the Culture and Tourism Tent:

  • Demonstrations of traditional Turkish arts including tile-making, calligraphy, paper marbling, miniature, modern Turkish painting and Turkish cuisine;
  • Book signing by our talented artists;
  • Exhibition on Mustafa Kemal Ataturk;
  • Displays of the models of fantastic structures of Turkey;
  • Displays on the Exhibition of the 2010 Istanbul European Capital of Culture;
  • Displays on Tulips and many delicate souvenirs related to Tulip subject;
  • Information on best holiday spots in Turkey
  • Opportunity to talk to the representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Turkish Airlines and Turkish Amemrican Television (TATV).
