Is there an admission fee to attend the festival?

There is no admission fee to attend the festival, it is a free event.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, the festival offers a fun day of activities for the entire family. We plan many exciting and educational activities for kids at the kids tent.

What is the best way to get to the festival?

The Festival is held on Pennsylvania Avenue between 12th and 14th Streets NW, in front of Freedom Plaza and two blocks from the White House.

Parking is available on side streets in the area. We encourage the use of Metro. Closest Metro Stations are Metro Center and Federal Triangle. For further details please check Directions.

Do vendors accept credit cards or will I need cash?

Some vendors accept credit cards but the majority of them do not. We recommend that you come prepared to use cash if you would like purchase food, try Turkish coffee, or buy gifts.

Where is the entrance of the festival?

The festival does not have one entrance. You can enter the festival site on Pennsylvania Ave NW between 12th and 14th Streets and the Freedom Plaza. A festival brochure describing festival activities and schedules will be distributed at the information tents on the 12th and 14th St entrances.

Where can I buy raffle tickets?

Raffle tickets may be bought at the Information tents and ATA-DC tent as well as from the wandering raffle tickets sellers at the festival site thorughout the day. The grand prize of the raffle is a roundfare ticket to Istanbul.
