The Culture and Tourism Tent is the place to discover various interesting and breathtaking aspects of Turkey at the Turkish festival.

Come and join us to see the art demonstrations of talented Turkish artists, to learn about the seven regions of our fantastic country, to taste samples of some of the most delicious desserts and refreshments of our kitchen and to have conversations with our delightful Turkish speakers who will share their experiences, knowledge and facts about Turkey with you.

  • Lecture of guest speaker Mehmet Gursoy, “Turkish Ceramic Tile-Making”
  • Demonstration of the Traditional Turkish Ceramic Tile-Making by by Mehmet Gursoy-all day
  • Demonstration of Calligraphy by Murat Cabuk-all day
  • Demonstration of Ottoman Motifs Painting on Cloth by Emine Babali-all day
  • Demonstration of the Traditional Turkish Marbling by Fazilet Inal-all day
  • Facts about the seven regions of Turkey
  • Display of the models of fantastic structures of Turkey
  • Exhibition of the 2010 Istanbul European Capital of Culture
  • Opportunity to talk to the representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.
